Clipper Cuts and Designs

Our talented master barbers (Nate, Tino, Marc, and Chris) have the knowledge and skills to transform your appearance. From full-service razor shaves to cutting-edge styles/designs to shaping eyebrows we enhance and flatter your features with ease.  Our barbers also offer other services including texturizers, color, and more.

Extensions & Units/Systems

We also specialize in realistic looking wigs and extensions. Larry, our Hair Braider, creates great units/systems to fit your individual needs (see pictured left).  Using the highest quality synthetic and natural materials, he is able to give you the full head of hair you have always longed for. Our expert stylists also provide you with amazing braids, weaves, and dreads. No matter what style you want, your hair has never looked better!

Braids/Cornrows and Dreadlock Extensions

Come see our Hair Braider, Larry, who specializes in braiding.  He offers the best in everything he does: micro braids, comb coils, dreadlock extensions, cornrows, designs/updos, and much more.  Our family-oriented Beauty Shop offers services to ALL people and ALL ages.

Additional Services

We also offer “Salon on Wheels,” a mobile hair care service for those that are unable to travel (after hour appointments are available upon request and at additional cost).

 We also offer “Shoe Shine” by Mr. Jesse…..he will shine your shoes right for you! You can drop them off or have a seat and let Mr. Jesse hook you up!

Rose & Taylor Barber Shop (a family-oriented atmosphere) was established in 1962 and has continued to offer the best quality services. In 2008, we became a combination of a barber shop and a beauty salon (under the ownership of Carla E. and William A. Jones). You get the best of both worlds. All of our barbers and beauticians (Chris, Mark, Tino, Nate, Carla, Larry, and Nicky) will listen to your ideas and concerns about your hair and provide you with the best possible look.

At Rose & Taylor Barber and Beauty Shop, we don’t just offer haircuts and styles we also offer texturizers, relaxers, color, braiding, dreadlock extensions, hot comb press and curl, and much more. We also have a new mobile hair care service called “Salon on Wheels” for those who are temporarily or permanently immobile (with additional cost at stylists discretion).

We service a diverse clientele and have everything from the classic traditional full-service barber shop to shoe shines, and we also have all the services at our beauty shop such as relaxers, highlights, braids, and more.
